Tips:
To link an existing Word document (such as your Google footprint) to your NING profile:
Somewhere towards the bottom of your profile page on the NING, there is a field called a Text box. You select Edit. When you are in the Edit screen there is a little tiny icon that looks like a piece of paper with a corner folded over on the right hand side. Select that and it will then ask you to browse for the file you want to upload. Select the file from your computer and then upload it. [Thanks to Margaret]
To create your own Wiki page:
While on the Westtown Wiki at : http://plpadvis.wikispaces.com/Westtown+School, click on New Page, under Actions at left. Name the page (I named mine Anny Ewing, e.g.) and, if you want, insert any key word Tags for folks to search to find your page (e.g. I typed Westtown, modern language, elementary). A blank page will open for you to write on. When finished, Save, and return to the Westtown page. Click on Edit this page button above. Highlight your name in the list of Members, and click on the icon above that looks like a 3-link chain. It will take you to a dialogue box where you need to enter the Page Name of the page you just created (in my case, Anny Ewing). This will create a link from your name to your page. VoilĂ !
